Over the last 6 years I’ve struggled to find a competent Pilates teacher in the Oxford area. I tried Claire’s Thursday evening class Autumn 2021, and became a regular ever since. Class sizes are small which means Claire can really focus on individuals needs. Claire knows how to push you enough so that each session you can see progress in your own abilities. Classes are friendly, fun and significantly contributes to improved mental health.

Pregnancy Pilates and Fitness. The pregnancy Pilates and fitness sessions carefully prepared and executed by Claire are absolutely brilliant. It is the perfect combination of core strengthening, posture correction and gentle muscle building, as well as relaxation. Claire works at my pace and progressing through the last trimester, is adapting the exercises to get the maximum benefits. Wholeheartedly recommending Claire for prenatal fitness and looking forward to continuing postnatal

I started Pilates with Claire over 2 years ago because of severe pain in my hip and lack of mobility. After a few months I noticed less pain and increasing strength. Now, after two years I have no pain at all on my hip and my strength and mobility has significantly improved. I now attend all of Claire’s Classes that I can get to so do Pilates, Boot Camp and aerobics. For someone who hates to exercise and usually gives up after a few months, this has been a revelation. To go to class where there is so much friendship and laughter but you are making constant progress is brilliant. I can’t recommend Claires classes highly enough!!

I have had both personal training sessions with Claire and attend her pilates classes. She is a really good teacher, able to identify your needs and modify exercises for your needs whilst helping you to improve.
Classes are a lot of fun with a relaxed atmosphere.
I’m really pleased with the progress I have made with Claire and enjoy her sessions a lot. I really recommend her!

Claire comes to our office once a fortnight and run Pilates classes for Infineum colleagues over lunch. Claire is lovely as the instructor and really takes the time to connect with her clients. The classes cater to all experience levels and really are a wonderful way to take a break and look after your wellbeing!

I’ve had the pleasure of attending many of Claire’s classes, including corporate pilates, Fit treats, PT and Cardio Burn. I always enjoy a workout with Claire . She pushes you hard, whilst ensuring that you use correct form and posture and always has great music to compliment the workout. Claire is very friendly and makes you feel very welcome. I always feel uplifted and energised after a class with Claire (even after I’ve fallen asleep during yoga nidra 😆). Highly recommend and will definitely be back for more!

I started pilates in order to strengthen my lower back and work on my core stability. Claire has been an incredible teacher. She ensures you have a good level of challenge whilst working within your own ability. Having equipment to use within the session always adds an element of fun and keeps things exciting! Definitely the highlight of my week and would highly recommend.

Fit Treat Oct ‘22: And what a treat it was! Claire and the team ensured we all had a fabulous day from beginning to end. I can’t say I wasn’t a bit apprehensive about attending, whether my abilities would suit the exercises but Claire made sure no-one would feel like this and there were adaptations for each exercise . Food was outstanding as was the wonderful experience of meeting new people. So highly recommended and will be there for the next one.

Absolutely loved Garden Pilates with Claire last year. She lives in a picturesque and peaceful location which was perfect. Fantastic session in the sunshine/outdoors, a fun quiz and incredibly tasty treats and tea. A really perfect Saturday chill out 🙂 bring on this years!

Claire provided an excellent well-being and stress management approach to bringing a team through a restructure. Corporate well-being objectives were exceeded and the team benefited from a combination of exercise, meditation and relaxation planning and expertise over a 12 week period. No absence or sickness was reported over the well-being period. Would highly recommend Claire, an engaging practitioner who always goes an additional mile to meet or exceed corporate expectations.

Personal training and pilates with Claire has completely changed how I feel about my body. I’ve gained both in strength and confidence since training with Claire and know that she’s focused on me – ensuring that I’m training at a level that’s right for me, but is also challenging me to achieve more that I think I can.

What can I say about Claire, well, she’s AMAZING! I highly recommend her, book now!
I’ve had 1:1 sessions with her for just over 4 months and I have thoroughly enjoyed them all, apart from the first Tabata session we did, really didn’t like that but came to sort of love them!
Claire takes time at the beginning to fully understand what you want out of your sessions and is professional, friendly, patient and motivational. All sessions are different and aimed at you achieving your goals, she fully explains and demonstrates techniques to you and her beady eye doesn’t miss anything, so you definitely get the most out of every session.

I was lucky enough to attend Claire’s Welsh retreat in 2024.  From the wonderful healthy food, which was so nourishing and filling, to a mix of very special Pilates classes bringing attention, focus and relaxation to the forefront.  Accommodation is on a shared basis and is set within stunning Welsh scenery.  If you want to give your mind body and soul a treat then you need this in your life.  Highly recommend.
