I booked a place on Claire’s French retreat set in the stunning Bordeaux region.  The retreat offered amazing accommodation, beautiful views, calmness and was thoroughly relaxing.  It was lovely to have the option of two excursions to see the countryside and market place.  Classes were mixed and gave you a lovely option to do as much or as little as you wished. Blessed with great weather the venues beautiful salt pool was thoroughly enjoyed.  Whether with friends or making new ones, this pilates and yoga retreat was a really good break.

I had been attending Claire’s pilates classes for just over a year when I fell pregnant. Having known Claire had prenatal and postnatal qualifications in fitness I was keen to continue with my pilates journey. Claire is incredibly knowledgeable and supportive, explaining how each move or exercise will help with pregnancy and even labour! As my pregnancy develops, Claire has adapted the exercises to ensure I get full benefit and that both baby and myself are safe. The use of different equipment makes each week fresh and interesting. I would absolutely recommend Claire to any expectant or new mum. I know I will be continuing with my pilates journey with Claire’s help after the arrival of my baby.

I started Pilates with Claire over 2 years ago because of severe pain in my hip and lack of mobility. After a few months I noticed less pain and increasing strength. Now, after two years I have no pain at all on my hip and my strength and mobility has significantly improved. I now attend all of Claire’s Classes that I can get to so do Pilates, Boot Camp and aerobics. For someone who hates to exercise and usually gives up after a few months, this has been a revelation. To go to class where there is so much friendship and laughter but you are making constant progress is brilliant. I can’t recommend Claires classes highly enough!!

I do Pilates with Claire Hunt on a Tuesday evening and being a woman in my late 50s and not so flexible and carrying extra pounds, I have found Claire to be a totally brilliant instructor. She is supportive and encouraging, giving me tips and pointers all the time to help me. She has an amazing sense of humour making her classes a complete joy.

I didn’t think Pilates was for me but Claire has made me love it and I know I am improving. Just thank you Claire 😊

Claire was very friendly and gave me the confidence boost to join a class. I have now joined Claire’s class. Claire’s classes are very enjoyable and effective. I’ve been attending Hit and Abs twice a week to get me fit! In a few weeks I’ve gone from no abs to using my abs and the difference in me is amazing. Claire coaches you and chooses specific excercises, pace and form to suit your individual needs. Fit Treat Oct ‘22: And what a treat it was! Claire and the team ensured we all had a fabulous day from beginning to end. I can’t say I wasn’t a bit apprehensive about attending, whether my abilities would suit the exercises but Claire made sure no-one would feel like this and there were adaptations for each exercise . Food was outstanding as was the wonderful experience of meeting new people. So highly recommended and will be there for the next one.

I have had both personal training sessions with Claire and attend her pilates classes. She is a really good teacher, able to identify your needs and modify exercises for your needs whilst helping you to improve.
Classes are a lot of fun with a relaxed atmosphere.
I’m really pleased with the progress I have made with Claire and enjoy her sessions a lot. I really recommend her!

Over the last 6 years I’ve struggled to find a competent Pilates teacher in the Oxford area. I tried Claire’s Thursday evening class Autumn 2021, and became a regular ever since. Class sizes are small which means Claire can really focus on individuals needs. Claire knows how to push you enough so that each session you can see progress in your own abilities. Classes are friendly, fun and significantly contributes to improved mental health.
