Under Claire’s expert guidance, you’ll explore movements that enhance your body awareness and prepare you for childbirth. Each session is conducted in a calm, supportive environment, ensuring you and your baby’s utmost comfort and safety. Tailored specifically for ‘mums to be,’ Claire’s Pregnancy Pilates and Yoga sessions are designed with your safety and comfort in mind. Each one-hour class utilises supportive props and adapts to the unique limitations of each trimester.

Claire is fully qualified to lead prenatal exercises, providing expert guidance since 2020.

Classes are open from 12 weeks onwards, offering a safe way to stay active, connect with your body, and prepare for motherhood. These sessions are suitable for women who have been active before pregnancy and have clearance from their healthcare provider to exercise.

Please note: These classes are not intended for those who have not exercised prior to pregnancy.

Pregnancy Pilates and Fitness. The pregnancy Pilates and fitness sessions carefully prepared and executed by Claire are absolutely brilliant. It is the perfect combination of core strengthening, posture correction and gentle muscle building, as well as relaxation. I had been attending Claire’s pilates classes for just over a year when I fell pregnant. Having known Claire had prenatal and postnatal qualifications in fitness I was keen to continue with my pilates journey. Claire is incredibly knowledgeable and supportive, explaining how each move or exercise will help with pregnancy and even labour! As my pregnancy develops, Claire has adapted the exercises to ensure I get full benefit and that both baby and myself are safe. The use of different equipment makes each week fresh and interesting. I started pre-natal Pilates with Claire once in my second trimester of pregnancy, and have absolutely loved her class each week. Throughout my pregnancy I have had various aches and pains and Pilates has been brilliant in helping relieve these, and in building up my core and pelvic floor strength. I really love the use of different apparatus and each week feels fresh and interesting. Claire is extremely knowledgable in explaining the exercises she chooses and why they are particularly useful for expectant mothers. She has also adapted the exercises we do to suit the stage of pregnancy we are at, so it feels very safe and supported. Her relaxed and calm manner and the atmosphere she creates in the classes are a weekly moment of peace and serenity that I really treasure!
